Project 1:

Design of a telemedicine emergency wireless system diabetes patients

Description: The project is based on designing an interface between
glucose sensors and a laptop/PDA to monitoring the glucose level for
type 1 diabetes patients at home, and requesting emergency help
through a laptop/PDA by sending emails/SMSs to their
doctors/nurses. Students will have to learn Tiny OS 2.x in order to
carry on this project. Moreover, they have to implement simple
database.

Project 2:

Mobile booking using cell phones with default preferences

Description: The students are required to build an application for
mobile users to make a fast booking on their smart phones utilizing
SMS messages. An SMS server should be created on a desktop/laptop to
respond SMS quires. A database should be built on the server using SQL
or Oracle.
